Placebo Board Meeting

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday, Placebo regulars meet to plan shows, fix problems, and discuss ideas. Board Meetings are what keep The Placebo alive. You *have* to come to one if you wanna book a show, but mostly people just show up because they give a cr4p about the scene. No one gets paid to keep The Placebo running. If you’re looking to help out, but meetings aren’t your thing, there are other ways you can volunteer.

When: Sunday, November 19th at 5:30pm
Where: The Placebo - 47B W 3rd St, Eureka (map) - use the door off the alley between 3rd and 4th

Everybody is welcome. You can show up to just one to check it out. You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to, but you’ll be listened to if you do.

The Trucks, The Pro Heroes, and The Signals

Saturday, November 18th, 2006

Well, this will just be one goshdarn fun show:

The Trucks Self-Titled CD Cover

  • The Trucks (seattle) sounds like a marching band, peaches, and robert smith collided. With costumes!
  • The Professional Superheroes bringing you the Super Songlist of Justice. Also costumed!
  • The Signals we’ll just have to see about the costumes
  • Ice Age Cobras (seattle) an irresistible rock n’ roll gumbo with fat chunks of soul that get stuck in your teeth and follow you home I don’t know these guys at all, so I’m not sure how it’s going to go with the costume-thing. Everyone should wear costumes, though!
  • The Pasties(olympia) crazy dance-making indie folk punk. Perhaps becostumed? Gosh darn it. These kids are staying home to work on their new album, instead.

When: Saturday November 18 at 8pm
Where: The Placebo - 47B W 3rd St, Eureka (map)
Cost: $5 w. membership / $7 w/o
