Everyone! Doesn’t this sound good?
An all ages – costume event with out-of-town bands, live art, interactive art, multidimensional film projection, wine and beer available [with ID], actors playing rock icons, cool lighting, multiple stages all happening at the Accident Gallery this Friday night.
Not only does it sound good, it’s true and the profits go straight to Synapsis, Placebo and E2. These are all ages, alcohol and drug free venues that support independent bands and art workshops.
That’s this Friday night, the 16th, at The Accident Gallery on C St. in Old Town Eureka from 8:pm to midnight. $8 at the door. The event is called The Warhol Warehouse Benefit and is based on Andy Warhol’s late 60’s “art factory” multimedia event, The Exploding Plastic Inevitable. Please come dressed in beatnik or mod; wear a tight turtleneck, tight jeans and boots. If all else fails, just dress like you would normally, er, wear black. See you Friday!
