Unless a band tells us <i>in advance</i> what they'd like to be described as, it may be wildly inaccurate or missing the point. (And sometimes, we're just really trying to engage the local crowd who may have no idea who/what a particular act is about, but who will come out for a punk show, or for the opportunity to see someone they <i>identify</i> with.) We may be experimental, we may be transgendered, we definately perform hard, and we are a part of the larger punk family, but to label us thus seems silly, and missing the point of what we do, which is not based on identity politics, nor only on experimentation.
